Saturn in tarot
Rules Capricorn and Aquarius · 5 decan cards
time · limits · structure · maturity
Saturn is the slowest of the classical planets, and its trump is The World, completion reached by passing through every limit. It rules Capricorn and Aquarius, the builder and the reformer. Its decans include the Five of Wands' strife, the Seven of Pentacles' patient wait and the Ten of Wands' heavy load. Where Saturn touches a card, time, duty and consequence are speaking.

Saturnine cards are about responsibility, patience and lessons that take time. They often show a structure that will hold because it was tested.
Correspondences follow the Golden Dawn system the Rider–Waite–Smith deck was made within (tropical zodiac, dates approximate; they shift by a day in some years). Other traditions assign some cards differently. See the full table for all 78 cards.
