What The Tower reversed means
Reversed, the lightning is held off or the tower crumbles slowly. The card shows a disaster postponed rather than prevented, a fear of change that keeps you in a building you know is unsound, a crisis narrowly averted, or the refusal to leave a ruin that has already fallen. It can also mark an inner upheaval that no one else sees. The crack is in the wall. Deciding to leave before the lightning does the work is the mercy on offer.
In love, reversed
A crisis you can see coming and keep postponing, or the aftershock of one that has passed. Fear of the blow is doing the blow's work. Face the conversation before it faces you.
At work, reversed
A crisis you can see coming and keep postponing, or the aftershock of one that has passed. Dread of the blow is doing the blow's work. Have the hard conversation first.
Money, reversed
A financial crisis you can see coming and keep postponing, or the aftershock of one that passed. Dread is doing the damage. Open the envelope.
As feelings, reversed
Dread of what might fall keeps these feelings tense. Someone could sense trouble in the relationship and avoid facing it, or be living through a slow collapse instead of a sudden one. The crisis may be postponed rather than gone.
As a person, reversed
Clinging to what is already crumbling marks this character's shadow. They may resist necessary change, cover up cracks, or delay a reckoning that keeps growing. Fear of chaos can make them more rigid than they need to be.
As advice, reversed
Stop waiting for the lightning to decide. Inspect the wall, admit the crack, and dismantle what is unsound on your own terms. A controlled demolition beats a strike.
Yes or no, reversed
The Tower reversed softens a hard card into a maybe: disaster delayed and fear of change. The outcome depends on what you do next.
