What Page of Wands reversed means
Reversed, the enthusiasm has nowhere to land. The card shows restlessness, ideas that multiply without being tried, talk that substitutes for action, or news that disappoints. It can mark a person, or a part of you, that starts everything and finishes nothing, or a tantrum when the fun stops. The spark is real; it needs a task and a little patience.
In love, reversed
Restlessness, mixed intentions, a flirtation that goes nowhere or a message that should not have been sent. Someone's enthusiasm is scattered. Decide what you actually want before you act on it.
At work, reversed
Scattered enthusiasm: too many ideas, none followed through, a restlessness that keeps you from finishing. Decide what you actually want to build before starting another thing.
Money, reversed
Scattered schemes: too many ideas for money, none followed through. Decide what you actually want to earn from before the next beginning.
As feelings, reversed
Fickle or anxious, this feeling flares and fades. They may be excited by you one day and distracted the next, full of talk and short on follow-through. Immaturity or nerves can make their signals hard to read, even when the interest underneath is real.
As a person, reversed
The shadow of this card is someone who chases novelty and leaves the rest. They may start projects with fanfare and lose interest when it gets dull, or sulk when the excitement wears off. Promises made in enthusiasm can go unkept.
As advice, reversed
Pick one spark and stay with it past the point of boredom. The advice is to stop talking about plans and do a small piece of one; news and enthusiasm are not progress.
Yes or no, reversed
Page of Wands reversed is a yes held back. The promise of the upright card is there, but restlessness and scattered ideas delay it; the timing or the approach needs to change first.
Waite's reversed meaning (1911)
Anecdotes, announcements, evil news. Also indecision and the instability which accompanies it.
